Nevro’s unique support services provide every patient with an HFX Coach throughout their pain relief journey and every physician with HFX Cloud insights for enhanced patient and practice management.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesIn this important role, you will assist the Digital Health team taking Nevro to the next level, along with your career. You get to own the technical design and development of new mobile app features in our iOS app. You will collaborate with other driven technology professionals and designers, contributing your iOS developer expertise to our team as you stay abreast of new and changing technologies, another passion of yours. Experience the best of both worlds – cutting edge med tech and transforming patient experiences by helping execute end-to-end human-centered products and services.Review and approve the design and development of the Mobile app, incorporating feedback from Product Management, User Experience, Architecture, and Quality Engineering.Collaborate with back-end application developers to design and refine APIs for sending and retrieving data to and from the mobile application.Develop and maintain test frameworks and interactive testing, including working with beta strument with analytics to understand and communicate usage and adoption models of the app.Provide subject matter expertise on mobile design practices, from experience to stability and performance. Mobile is different, and you need to know why and be able to drive a viewpoint.Works closely with other product development team members to assure that their designs interface properly with other system components and to assure that the overall system meets its performance requirements.Contributes to the intellectual property base of the Company via active communication of new concepts to Management.Works in accordance with quality system procedures and actively enforces its objectives.Other duties as assigned.Role RequirementsA minimum of 5+ years’ experience in software design for mobile application development.BS. in Computer Science, or similar degree.Skills and KnowledgeMobile development experience in iOS or Android ecosystem such as:Deep understanding and proficiency in building Android mobile apps from scratch using at least one mobile language (Java, Kotlin, etc.). Experience with multiple platforms is preferred.Strong software development skills beyond design, including OO and MVC/MVVM patterns.Proven mobile software development experience including published/referenceable examples of mobile applications available in the Apple App store or the Android market place.Good familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.Able to work effectively under pressure, independently, and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.Able to work hand-in-hand with User Experience and Design teams, while also delivering creative viewpoints and solutions of your own. Demonstrated experience with wireframing and prototyping tools a plus.Target Pay Range$136,105 - $187,144.
