The successful candidate will create and drive the Observability Integrations roadmap, blending scalable automation and security within a multi-hybrid cloud environment to support Fidelity’s observability platform. As the platform Squad Lead, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-scale observability platform integrations with SaaS solutions such as Datadog, as well as open-source tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of software engineers.Develop and execute the roadmap for Observability Integrations.Build and support integrations with SaaS solutions like Datadog.Develop and maintain observability solutions using open-source technologies such as Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).Hands-on engineering experience in Python, Go, or Java.Experience managing observability SaaS platforms like Datadog, with focus on governance and FinOps.Proven ability to design and build scalable, resilient, and cost-effective observability platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, K8s, etc.Strong leadership skills to guide engineering teams.Strategic thinking to recognize patterns and improve platform efficiency.Deep knowledge of observability technologies, practices, and security controls in cloud environments.Understanding of IT services, cloud delivery models, automation, containers, and related technologies.CertificationsRelevant certifications in IT and cloud technologies are preferred.Additional InformationFidelity’s hybrid work model combines onsite and offsite work, with onsite presence required every other week in most roles.Job DetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and IT #J-18808-Ljbffr
