Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$280,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yrTitle: Sr. Director, Security Software EngineeringLocation: RemoteDuration: Full-TimeCompensation: 280,000-300,000Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Skillset / Experience:Team Building and LeadershipBuild and lead a team of 3-4 security engineers, focusing on recruitment, mentoring, and aligning team efforts with the companies security objectives.Security Architecture and ImplementationImplement shift-left security practices and zero trust principles across the development lifecycle. Drive the integration of security controls early in the SDLC and establish security tools and processes that support these principles.Strategic Analysis and PlanningIdentify entire classes of security defects and vulnerabilities through systematic analysis of development practices and security incidents. Develop comprehensive security strategies and recommendations for executive leadership on addressing these challenges at scale. Create and manage security budgets while tracking key metrics that demonstrate security improvement.Threat ModelingDevelop and mature threat modeling practices across development teams. Train stakeholders in threat modeling techniques and integrate these practices into the development lifecycle.Security Consultancy and EducationProvide security guidance across departments, focusing on application security. Develop and deliver security awareness programs while acting as a security champion throughout the organization.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleIn-depth understanding of modern security practices, including ShiftLeft, Zero-Trust, and threat modelingProven track record of building and leading high-performing security teamsStrong background in application security, cloud security, and secure software development practicesExperience with purple team operations and offensive security techniquesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) preferredYOU (Behavioral SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)Visionary mindset with the ability to anticipate and prepare for emerging security threatsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about security challengesCollaborative approach, with experience working across different departments and levels of an organizationPassion for staying current with the latest security trends, tools, and methodologiesExperience in the entertainment or ticketing industry is a plusOur benefits package includes:Comprehensive medical benefitsCompetitive pay, 401(k)Retirement plan…and much more!About INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
