We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform, with a current focus on mobile games.What We Need:Cat Daddy Games is seeking an Associate Android Platform Engineer to provide temporary development support for platform features, libraries, tools and processes that power our mobile game titles. In this role, you will collaborate with top-tier game developers to improve and maintain both existing and new features and workflows, with a primary focus on the Android platform.What You Will Do:Develop, maintain, and enhance code for our games and proprietary engine on Android devices, including designing, testing, debugging, and improving functionalityCreate detailed designs, technical documentation, and test cases for assigned projectsCollaborate with the team members and QA staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs efficientlyWork with existing proprietary software and develop new technologies to meet project requirements and objectivesProactively identify technical challenges and development risks, and implement effective solutions to address themWho We Think Will Be a Great Fit:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience developing video games or applications for AndroidExperience in C++ and JavaProficiency with Android development and debugging toolsExcellent problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsAbility to learn and master new tools, frameworks, and technologiesAbility to work independently and efficiently under deadlinesA positive demeanor with a passion for gamingAbility to work onsite at Cat Daddy studio 4-5 days/weekAlong with your application, please submit a portfolio of professional or personal work samples.At Cat Daddy, we believe diversity of experience is fundamental to crafting accessible and fun gaming experiences for all of our players.
