The successful candidate will apply their skills to develop data-driven tools, such as intuitive analytics, prediction scores, and dashboards to support clinical decision-making and patient monitoring. The role involves substantial interaction with clinicians to identify needs and develop solutions that meaningfully improve clinical outcomes.The SpecificsUse methods of machine learning to summarize patient data into meaningful scoresDevelop dashboards to visualize analytics and predictions in support of clinical decision-makingEngage directly with clinicians users to gather requirements and iteratively refine analytics toolsCollaborate closely with software engineering and product management to launch productsClearly communicate insights, methodologies, and product value to stakeholders and end-usersMinimum QualificationsExperiencePhD or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Epidemiology, or other quantitative fields2+ years of industry experience in data scienceData ScienceStrong skills in state-of-the-art statistical analysis and machine learningStrong skills in summarizing data into intuitive tables and visualizationsScienceUnderstands the scientific method, study design and hypothesis-driven experimentationPassion for transparent, rigorous and reproducible data scienceSoftware EngineeringProficiency in Python and SQL (additional proficiency in R preferred)Dedication to engineering best practice (e.g., version control, documentation, etc.)Personal AttributesExcellent communication and collaboration skills with varied stakeholdersIndependent, proactive, and adept at managing multiple projectsHumility, kindness, urgency, and a hunger to continuously learn and growPreferred qualificationsExperience developing and launching data-driven products end-to-endExperience with LLMs and Agentic AI in the context of product developmentBackground working with wearable devices, biosensing data, or other physiological data typesExperience working with electronic health records or other healthcare dataCloud storage and virtual machine experience (preferably Google Cloud Platform)Impactful Work: You will join in the fight to eradicate the world’s #1 killer by extending and saving the lives of our patients while also being at the forefront of changing the healthcare industry through novative Environment: You will be part of an organization doing something that’s never been done before.Professional Growth: You will join a growing team and have a substantial impact on our daily and future operations with the opportunity to continuously learn and grow.Collaborative Team: You will be part of a team of collaborative, curious, and committed individuals focused on the collective good, inclusiveness, scientific excellence, and advancing digital health for pany BenefitsCompetitive Compensation: Competitive salary plus performance bonus and equity.Health Benefits: Generous benefit package which starts on the first day of employment. Our benefits are through a PEO called TriNet and include medical, dental, and vision. Prolaio pays for 80-100% of the premiums. The contribution depends on the plan and level of coverage selected.Life Insurance: Company-provided life insurance ($10,000) with the opportunity to buy up additional coverage.Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan available upon hire through Empower. We do not currently offer a company match.Paid Time Off: Prolaio time off policy is based on length of service. As a new employee you will be eligible for 15 days of PTO which you will start to accrue immediately.
