This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy Power BI reports utilizing Azure Analysis Services and Databricks.Support and enhance ADF pipelines for efficient data processing.Perform defect fixes on Power BI reports and create complex Databricks queries.Provide production support for Power BI and AAS reports.Design and implement complex SQL queries and stored procedures, deploying them as ADF jobs.Collaborate with technical and business teams to maintain business solutions following Agile principles.Engage in continuous improvement of development practices and methodologies.Write thorough tests to ensure code quality and reliability.SkillsStrong experience in Power BI report development and model building.Proficiency in Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks (SQL & Python), and ADF.Ability to write performance-tuned complex queries in Databricks.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred SkillsExperience collaborating with business partners to translate complex requirements into software solutions.Knowledge of Object-Oriented principles and experience in JAVA and Spring Boot applications.Full lifecycle development experience on large projects.Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all individuals feel valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.Once you apply for this position, you may receive a phone call, SMS or email at the time of application from our Virtual AI Recruiter, Alex, to conduct an initial interview.Horizontal facilitates valuable and productive conversations between you and potential employers.
