It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make.Job Posting TitleSenior Data ScientistJob DescriptionThe Data Scientist designs and develops processes to support clinical program using eligibility, medical, and pharmacy administrative claims. This position is responsible for performing work that includes study design, measurement and publishing results of complex pharmacy and medical health insurance clinical programs.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and apply statistical theories and methods to solve complex technical problemsDefine detailed report requirements for new decision support reports as assignedUse multivariate modeling statistical software (SAS, R, etc.) to create and maintain listings, tabulations, graphical summaries, and formal statistical estimates and testsPerform predictive modeling for clinical program development/enhancement and adherenceCreate statistically sound data sets, analysis methods, and scientific reports, assess quality of data analysis programs, and develop automated analysis tools where appropriateOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required5 years of related work experience with large data setsExperience with SAS and/or SQLMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional QualificationsExperience with PythonExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly analytical and research orientedPreferred QualificationsPBM or healthcare experienceAdvanced Python or SAS experienceMaster's degree (e.g., M.S., M.P.H.) or equivalent work experiencePhysical DemandsAbility to travel up to 10% of the timeConstantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hearFrequently required to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusEvery employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures.Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.To review our Benefits, Incentives and Additional Compensation, visit our Benefits Page and click on the "Benefits at a glance" button for more detail.Prime Therapeutics LLCis proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
