Candidates must have an active Top Secret Clearance and 8+ years of experience in security intrusion detection. The role involves working Monday through Friday from 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with flexibility for other shifts with prior notice. The Senior SOC Analyst handles second-tier escalation, supporting detailed analysis of security events across the Agency's network and ensuring quality work. They serve as the escalation point for Information Assurance Engineers and the Shift Team Lead.Position Responsibilities:Review and accurately document all security incidents, including email notifications.Monitor and respond promptly to alerts generated by the SIEM tool or customer vestigate incidents using various tools and recommend or take immediate actions to protect systems.Document incidents with clear narratives supporting conclusions.Position Requirements:8+ years of experience in security intrusion detection, working with technologies such as network IDS/IPS, web log analysis, and raw data logs.Proficiency with tools like Splunk ES, FireEye, Wireshark, Snort, and knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.Experience at the SOC Analyst level for at least 8 years.Bachelor's degree required.Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to qualify for SCI access.Additional Details:Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
