This global construction manufacturing company produces and recycles steel products for infrastructure and commercial projects. They’re currently seeking a Network Architect to join their network engineering team. This role is ideal for a Cisco-focused network engineer with strong experience in architecture and design within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with technologies including Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Checkpoint, F5, Cloudflare, and ISE. Experience with Zscaler or Zero Trust networking is a plus. You’ll work closely with cross-functional IT teams—such as operations, OT, and security—to identify and implement network improvements. Responsibilities also include keeping documentation up to date and mentoring junior network engineers. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in network architecture and design, ideally in an enterprise setting Solid understanding of network security principles; experience with Zscaler or Zero Trust is a plus Familiarity with Cisco ISE components Strong collaboration skills—regular interaction with operations, security, and cloud teams Ability to take ownership of projects and provide mentorship to junior team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong documentation abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly valued Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000–$150,000 + bonus potential Benefits package includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with matching contributions Additional Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Information Technology Industry: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
