Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.As part of a development team, you will use the latest architectures and technologies in AWS to accelerate the development and adoption of data-driven software capabilities across Blue Origin in service of Blue's mission and beyond. Passion for our mission and vision is required!ResponsibilitiesMember of a full-stack software development team (Scrum)Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across Blue OriginParticipate in the development and maintenance of multi-tenant SaaS applications for new and existing capabilitiesActively participate in the different Scrum ceremonies as a team memberContribute to standards and best practices and coach and mentor fellow and junior engineersDeep dive into your users’ problems and partner with product managers to find and create efficient solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with a focus on backend developmentExperience working on a full-stack software development team in an agile development environment (Scrum preferred) with at least 3 years working with data-intensive applicationsProven ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions to complex problemsA passion for innovation, learning and sharing knowledgePreferred QualificationsAWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate CertificationExperience with Java, Python or Rust doing backend development (REST APIs, asynchronous messaging and stream processing)Experience with frontend development with React or a similar frameworkExperience working in public clouds (AWS preferred)Expertise in debugging, profiling, and improving application performanceExperience in design and development of cloud native solutions, micro-services and backend systemsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsManufacturing and/or Aerospace experienceCompensation Range ForWA applicants is $148,014.00-$207,218.55Other Site Ranges May DifferCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
