This role focuses on delivering new applications and functionality while maintaining current capabilities in cloud-based environments, with emphasis on cybersecurity, accessibility compliance, and DevSecOps practices. In accordance with8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C), Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in software development and application architecture with demonstrated leadership, technical knowledge, and expertiseExperience serving in a leadership role on innovative cloud and/or software development programs for federal agencies with proven success delivering mission-critical applicationsExtensive experience implementing and leading automation using DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipeline development, security integration, and automated testing frameworksProficiency with modern programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Angular, React, and RESTful API developmentStrong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) including containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code practicesHands-on experience with database technologies including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, BigQuery, and database design, optimization, and application system integrationPrior experience and knowledge of federal technical environments and interrelated systems including government security frameworks, compliance requirements, and federal IT standards preferredPrior experience and knowledge of FEMA’s technical environment and interrelated technical environments preferredExperience with development tools including Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, automated testing frameworks, and application performance monitoring solutionOther Requirements:Current Public Trust High required or ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
