Our Golang-based microservices utilize machine learning and optimization techniques to enable key business capabilities such as route planning, risk management, and vehicle dispatching. Airspace's R&D team is looking for a naturally curious and adept developer to help build these critical, performant systems. The ideal candidate is proficient in Go, but will be capable of making meaningful contributions to any part of our platform.What You'll Do:Design, build, and maintain software for our Golang-based microservicesWork in an iterative, data-driven environment that favors experimentation and feedbackProductionize and apply machine learning models to solve unstructured business problemsResearch, implement, and integrate domain-relevant algorithmsCollaborate with a team of smart, friendly engineers to develop impactful solutions unique to logisticsDesign, build, and maintain software for our Golang-based microservicesWork in an iterative, data-driven environment that favors experimentation and feedbackProductionize and apply machine learning models to solve unstructured business problemsResearch, implement, and integrate domain-relevant algorithmsCollaborate with a team of smart, friendly engineers to develop impactful solutions unique to logisticsWhat We're Looking For:7+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems with Go, Python, Java, C, C++, Ruby or comparable language. Go is heavily preferred.A strong understanding of CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and time vs space tradeoffExperience building cloud-native microservices and distributed systemsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of ownershipFamiliarity with machine learning and/or mathematical optimization is a plusFamiliarity with logistics (route planning, ride sharing, risk profiling) is a plusCompensation:Salary Range: $140k ~ $180kHigh-quality health, dental, and vision plan optionsUnlimited PTO401K with company matchCore Values:We are One Team .
