Enterprise Architect LeadJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental US* * *The Opportunity:Join NAVSEA 03S as the lead Operations Architect for the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution (NMMES)Play a crucial role in designing and implementing enterprise-wide IT cloud architectures supporting naval ship and submarine maintenance applications, integrations, and dataDevelop architectural solutions for complex systems serving over 45,000 users across global Navy facilities, including Navy Shipyards and Intermediate Maintenance FacilitiesLead initiatives to modernize hosting of legacy systems while integrating cloud-native services and automationDrive the strategic direction of the NMMES cloud architecture, balancing customer-driven enhancements with technology obsolescence challengesOversee the full enterprise architecture lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and evolutionApply SAFe Agile methodologies to improve architectural processes and team efficiencyResponsibilities:Provide technical leadership for specifying, designing, implementing, testing, accrediting, deploying, and sustaining enterprise system and service architectures in a distributed, net-centric environmentLeverage DoD policies, architectural frameworks, and commercial best practices to design and develop Service Oriented Architectures that satisfy enterprise scale requirementsLead system architects and engineers in decomposing enterprise architecture into system components and services for analysis, design, implementation, testing, accreditation, deployment, and sustainmentKeep abreast of new enterprise architecture solutions including leading-edge technologies in cloud computing within DoDMaintain technical currency on evolving technology trends and available COTS products that implement these technologiesEnsure integration between legacy systems and modern web-based applications running on multiple operating systemsDevelop and maintain enterprise architecture documentation and standardsImplement and champion SAFe Agile practices within the NMMES enterprise architecture processQualifications:Required:Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearanceMaster’s in IT and 19 years’ experience -OR- Bachelor’s and 24 years’ experience in a related area within DoD/Navy programs, Master’s preferred.Experience with architecting, developing, deploying, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions in a DoD environmentExperience with architecting core cloud services related to servers, VPCs, permissions and networking and how they interactExtensive knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and practices, particularly in managing complex, global IT systemsProven experience leading technical teams and managing full enterprise architecture lifecycle processesCurrent Security+ certificationDesired:Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldAWS certification, Windows, or RHEL certificationExperience with hosting naval maintenance systems or similar complex DoD programsSAFe Agilist, Architect, or similar SAFe certificationExperience in designing architectures that span multiple operating systems and technology platformsKnowledge of relevant DoD and Navy standards for enterprise architecture and system interoperabilityFamiliarity with DoD architectural frameworks such as DoDAF-________________________________________________________________________________________What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
