In 2024, we created a focused Telecom & Digital Infrastructure industry group to complement A&M’s history in solving complex issues in this space. We are looking for accomplished consultants and operators with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to develop actionable strategies and see them through to execution.DescriptionAlvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement (A&M CPI) is expanding our capacity to serve clients across telecom and digital infrastructure. In 2024, we created a focused Telecom & Digital Infrastructure industry group to complement A&M’s history in solving complex issues in this space. We are looking for accomplished consultants and operators with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to develop actionable strategies and see them through to execution.A&M helps companies navigate options through complex market dynamics, such as telecom. Our work includes advising on top-line strategy growth, streamlining operations, solving for tech debt, investments across telecom and digital infrastructure, divestitures, restructuring, transactional diligences, and M&A.Our team serves traditional telecom operators, as well as private equity, digital infrastructure providers, government entities, and cross-industry enterprises. Our work spans across wireline (cable, fiber, legacy), wireless, data centers, satellite, and next gen infrastructure terested parties should have a strong background in one of the following areas:Networks and Related Business CasesNetwork Deployment Strategy (expansions or net-new)Network UpgradesNetwork M&A, ValuationTransactions, Strategy & StructureM&A Pre-Deal (Due Diligence, Planning)M&A Post-Deal (Execution, Business Case Achievement)Revenue & Pricing ImprovementShareholder Value ImprovementOperations EfficiencyNetwork and Field OperationsCustomer Care and SalesSupply Chain & LogisticsITTelecom IT Strategy & Road MappingOSS/BSS Assessments and BuildsResponsibilities:Effectively leads workstreamsLeads self and teammates to achieve objectives set with project leadership directionPlans and designs work by using structured problem-solving framework and methodologiesInterfaces with client regularly and possesses strong executive presenceProvides significant support on proposal and sales effortsActively seeks to identify client’s needs that may lead to new opportunities for A&M; manages personal relationships in a business context and maintains an active network of business relationshipsEstablishes an inclusive environment that is positive and engages all team membersQualifications:4+ years of relevant industry and consulting experienceOutcome orientedEntrepreneurial and commercial approachStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsStrong interpersonal/team skills, high E.Q.Expert knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentAbility to address strategic issues and act tactically understanding cross functional requirementsComfortable with travelThe salary range for Manager is $135,000-$160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings’ fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type.
