This is a great opportunity for an experienced Systems Analyst to join a strong, collaborative team in a role focusing on analysis with leadership and advancement opportunities on our Investor Application Support Team. The individual will be responsible for requirements, systems analysis, testing, and project management. This position requires a high level of direct interaction with business users and excellent communication and delivery skills. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people at all levels of the organization.ResponsibilitiesInteract directly with business partners at all levels of the organization to define, analyze and document requirements, as well as set prioritiesWork hands-on with our Guideline Monitoring application to design and enhance features.Ensure on time, scalable and high-quality business solutionsProvide input into system design to help the programming teams define effort and implementation schedulesEnsure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing and building audit/validation controlsAct as an escalation point person for support issues that require detailed analysis and managementProvide regular status reporting and issue trackingQualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detailHands-on knowledge of SQL and relational database technologyStrong aptitude for technology and ability to reverse engineer applicationsExcellent written and verbal requirements for functional specifications, use cases, and test plansStrong client relationship skills and proven ability to build consensusExperience working directly with business partners to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet those needsChange agent, creative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvementsSelf-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced team environmentExperience supporting critical production applicationsPrior years of experience as a systems analyst in the financial services industryUnderstanding of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives, and FXExperience with advanced investment data concepts such as holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, and performanceDetailed knowledge and experience of investors workflows in areas of research, valuation, analysis, and portfolio constructionBachelor’s degree is requiredNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is:USD 80,000 - 180,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
