As our Director of Engineering, you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide full-stack development, system reliability, DevOps, QA, and vendor engineering. You’ll work closely with Product and Design to ensure engineering efforts are tightly aligned with business priorities and customer needs. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of pragmatic engineering and emerging technologies—someone who can modernize legacy systems, integrate AI accelerators, and drive smart architecture decisions that scale. Key Responsibilities Lead engineering execution across product initiatives, platform improvements, and technical operations. Provide architectural guidance and contribute to production code when needed. Champion platform reliability through incident response, root cause analysis, and performance improvements. Oversee DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and QA practices to ensure robust test coverage and deployment health. Align engineering with Product, Design, and QA across pods to ensure clarity on scope and quality. Manage technical debt and legacy system modernization, including monolith decomposition and service modularization. Integrate AI tooling, automation frameworks, and developer experience enhancements into workflows. Mentor developers and foster a culture of speed, accountability, and quality. Coordinate with external vendors, managing budgets, expectations, and delivery quality. Drive Agile rituals including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation. Maintain engineering reporting frameworks and SOPs for transparency and operational continuity. Communicate technical progress and risks to executive leadership. Stay informed on industry trends and client feedback to drive innovation and feature evolution. Promote a respectful, solutions-driven team environment and uphold company policies. Qualifications 7+ years in full-stack engineering roles, including 3+ years managing engineers. Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Cypress, and AWS/GCP. Experience with AI tooling, LLMs, and AI-augmented development workflows. Skilled in system design, modular architecture, and monolith-to-microservice migrations. Strong Agile operator with clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience managing outsourced teams and budgets.
