Will you join us?INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) COORDINATORWe have an immediate need for an exempt, full-tim e IT Coordinator to work at our San Francisco headquarters or other location within the state of California. The IT Coordinator w ill assist with various IT duties under the direction of the Director of Technology and must be able to support all staff, regional offices, subtenants, studios, and subsidiaries.Essential Functions:Prepare new equipment for all staff and locationsInstall and update company software and operating systemsAssist in diagnosing and solving technical issuesIT Onboarding and Offboarding proceduresAssist staff with use of printers, plotters and scanners, conferencing solutionsResponsible for in-person organization and storage of IT equipment and suppliesAssist in moving and setting up IT equipment during desk and office relocationsOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client informationWorks well and communicates effectively with othersOperate a wide variety of computer hardware and software as well as standard office equipment and quickly learn the use of new technologies and applicationsAbility to analyze and solve problemsAbility to read, interpret and collect manual documentsMaintains accurate and complete recordsWorks independently under general supervision, uses initiative and good business judgmentAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize, multi-task and use time effectivelyAbility to perform in a high pressure, quick and dynamic environmentSkills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years working IT experienceMust possess strong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Windows a nd Mac operating systemsWorking knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio)Skills and Experience Preferred:OSWindows 11MacOS 15 Sequoia or higherNetworkingBasic Knowledge of TCP/IP NetworkingSoftwareInstalling and configuring named-user and network licensingWorking knowledge of remote monitoring and management solutionsOpen office-noise level in the workspace is generally moderateThis position requires working in a temperature-controlled environment. At Sherwood Design Engineers, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
