Base pay range $190,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus and Stock options Compensation details Compensation: $190,000 to $210,000 base salary + annual bonus + equity Opportunity: high-visibility role for the aspiring engineering leader looking to steer mobile engineering across the enterprise product portfolio Interview Process: speak directly to the CTO as the first step As Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading Mobile development teams in the design, optimization, and innovation of the company’s software. This hands-on leadership role focuses on enhancing team velocity, improving code quality, and ensuring effective execution throughout the software development lifecycle. While not coding directly, the Director will be deeply involved in technical discussions, providing guidance on design, architecture, and implementation. Responsibilities: Drive the development team to ensure they are getting work done on-time, with high quality, and full scope. Leverage metrics (burndown charts, quality statistics, stories committed to vs stories achieved, etc) to track how the products tracking to its release date Ensure the architecture and design of solutions is efficient, scalable, and performant. Ensure all solutions have an appealing user experience (i.e. user friendly, intuitive) Ensure teams implement and execute unit tests and automated testing practices Improve product quality through standardized best practices across teams Ensure engineering teams operate at maximum sprint velocity and track sprint progress Work with the VP of Engineering to establish and manage goals and responsibilities for the development team. Foster an environment that prioritizes excellence and ongoing enhancement, encouraging the team to consistently refine their processes and skills to ensure improvement towards productivity, work quality, and team's overall performance and impact Implement, improve, and maintain processes to streamline development coordination across the organization Requirements: 7+ years experience leading multiple teams and managing direct reports for mobile solutions within the enterprise/commercial software or technology industry A track record of successfully improving processes to enhance productivity and performance Strong understanding of software development practices, architecture, and design patterns Hands-on experience guiding teams through design, implementation, and code review processes Experience in fostering a culture of engineering excellence, quality, and efficiency Proficiency with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Experience leading teams building React-Native as well as native mobile solutions Working knowledge of mobile development technologies: Native languages, Xamarin/Maui, C#/.Net, Java, React-Native Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Software Development Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr
