Join us as a Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure software quality within a complex medical device product through the development and execution of software test plan by way of verification procedure based upon software and system specifications.What Your Day-To-Day Will InvolveSupport new product development and design changes to existing products in ensuring compliance with company’s Quality systemServe as a technical resource for software requirements, risk, verification and validation, process validation, usability, statistical analysis, Design Transfer etcBe a core team member for new product development and design changesSupport Program Management with compliance to Design controls and Risk Management procedures and delivery of robust Design History FilesDevelop and implement product quality plans, risk management plans to ensure high degree of assurance that specific design and process will consistently and continually produce a product that meets specifications and critical to quality attributesPerform software functional testing and integration testingDevelop automation frameworks and automation test scripts for software testingCreate and review software test protocols and test reportsCreate, maintain, and validate test tools that facilitate test automationReview product design requirements and software requirements to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiableParticipate and provide feedback on risk-based code and design reviewsAssist in product design documentation reviews for safety, consistency, traceability and compliance to regulations (such as FDA QSR design control requirements)Log software issues and track progress of bug fixesMaintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the Procept BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory complianceUnderstand and adhere to Procept BioRobotics Quality Policy and EHS PolicyThe Qualifications We Need You to PossessBachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or equivalentMinimum of 8 years of experience working in software testingBackground in software automation testingExperience developing test frameworks and automated test scriptsProficient in Python and C#Experience with GUI automation tools (Squish, Selenium, WinApp Driver or equivalent)Experience with source control and development tools (GitHub or equivalent)Experience with continuous build and integration environments (Jenkins or equivalent)Experience working with Test case management tools like JAMAExperience working with management and defect tracking tools like JiraKnowledgeofC, C++, GUIDesign,OS:Windows strongly preferredExperience working on projects that follow Agile methodologyMust have working knowledge of CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366The Qualifications We Would Like You to PossessExperience with medical device testing or developmentExperience with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304, and familiarity with FDA GMP.Understanding PROCEPT/'s CultureAt PROCEPT, we believe every person matters.
