We maintain Kubernetes controllers and provide self-service patterns for internal teams by leveraging projects within the Cloud Native Landscape.Our goal is to provide all our services and technologies to internal customers in a secure, scalable and repeatable way.We are looking for an experienced Platform & Cloud Native Engineer to join our team which is mostly based in Vancouver. If you’re excited about working with technologies for low-latency, large scale systems in a collaborative environment then we’d love to hear from you!You will be involved in building an internal Kubernetes platform on Azure. Additionally, you will implement security best practices and support the migration of diverse workloads to Kubernetes, ensuring they are set up securely and efficiently.What you bring to the tableOur business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:Help develop best practices and tooling for Azure & Kubernetes usage across the organizationImplement Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) at scaleDeploy, maintain and build Kubernetes controllersExecute key platform and infrastructure projects involving multiple teamsTroubleshoot and debug, often in collaboration with other teamsCollaborate with other engineers in design and code reviewsMinimum requirements:6 + years practical Kubernetes experience, preferably in high-volume and/or critical production service environmentsHands on experience with Azure is required.Experience with Cluster API or other cluster management frameworksExperience with Kubernetes Operator patternExperience with development in GolangProven experience in architecting and provisioning services using public cloud services, preferably Azure, but also GCP or AWSExtra points:Experience with managed Kubernetes services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) at scaleOur benefits package includes:Comprehensive medical benefitsCompetitive pay, 401(k)Retirement plan…and much more!About INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
