OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Application Developer role at WSP in the U.S.Be involved in projects with our Project Controls & Technology (PCT) and CM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.WSP is initiating a search for a Senior Applications Developer to work within our Software Solutions practice. This position can be located out of Denver, CO or any major WSP office. The main purpose is to assist in the development and maintenance of various business applications across multiple platforms including .NET and the rest of the Microsoft application suite, with collaboration across units to meet client needs. Your ImpactWork closely with clients and project teams and application service developers and must be fluent in the Agile framework.Field client requests and communicate shifting priority items to the team.Design and develop user interfaces that influence branding and the overall look and feel for custom web applications and commercially off the shelf products, including SharePoint.Work with metadata stores and assist with monthly reporting functions.Assist with supporting visual electronic workflows related to Contract Administration.Help develop interfaces for mobile applications.Deliver online reporting dashboards and reporting.Demonstrate and perform Business Analyst skills at an intermediate to advanced level. Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalentMust be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.5-7 years development experience with /C#, MVC, Blazor, Node, TypescriptMust have good communication and technical skills.Proficient in .NET, Node, Python, RESTful services with C#Proficient in React / Vue / Angular; React / Vue with Typescript preferred.Experience deploying applications to iOS and Android App stores with test flight & QA coordination.Proficient in Entity Framework, Blazor – EF Core 7+ , 8.0Strong experience in one or more database technologies (Transact-SQL with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).Good UI & UX experience; solid CSS, JavaScript; exposure to charting packages (HighCharts, Kendo, Mui, Bootstrap, etc.).Experience in DevOps / Git environment with disciplined PRs and merge strategies.Strong UI design experience and building responsive UI using CSS, SAAS, LESS, D3 with design frameworks (Materialize, Fluent, Ant).Knowledge of spatial frameworks (ArcGIS / Google Maps / Carto).Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, trends, and provide insights.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 Workflow, Power Automate, Excel, Power BI and other data visualization tools.Experience with AI/ML tools or libraries (TensorFlow, , Semantic Kernel, TorchSharp, PyTorch) to integrate AI solutions.Ability to create data models for AI workloads and integrate with legacy applications.Experience supporting project management and financial reporting systems.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; able to work independently or with others.Experience with a large public government agency or utility is a mitment to ethical decision-making and adherence to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to health, safety and harassment policies. Preferred QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related technical field.Certifications in related fields with implementation experience.Microsoft Development or Microsoft application administration certifications.
