As a Software Engineer on the K.ATS team, you will work with lawyers, academics, and tech industry leaders to analyze the behavior of LLMs, measure the value of data for AI systems, and develop novel approaches, prototypes, and applications to solve real-world client problems using state-of-the-art models and technologies.At Keystone you will work on big ideas with Fortune 100 tech clients, grow your professional network, and gain relationships that last a lifetime. Partner with leading academic experts from Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Wharton, and other top universities on some of the most interesting problems today. You’ll work on a broad range of fast-paced technology focused projects with cutting-edge companies and immediate impact. Apply your technical skills to economics, legal, and business strategy problems, and develop your leadership skills working with client-facing project teams on high-stakes cases.Qualifications4-6 years of relevant professional experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or software development focused on AI systemsExperience in designing, finetuning, evaluating, and deploying state-of-the-art AI models, including LLMs, for real-world applicationsDeep understanding of i) advanced techniques like reinforcement learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and few-shot learning, ii) architecture and design patterns underlying models like GPT, LLaMA, and BERT, and iii) frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and HuggingFaceHighly capable at managing complex analyses and diverse teamsHigh intellect and quick to learn with a passion for excellenceDesire to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environmentAbility to manage multiple complex work streams and work across organizational boundariesAble to effectively communicate technical concepts across a wide range of audiencesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field; Master’s or PhD is a plusUS Salary Range: $133,000 - $175,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus, 401k contribution, and competitive benefits package.
