Penetration Tester

Description Salary: $115,000 - $125,000/year Duties And Responsibilities Include Design and implement a penetration testing strategy aligned with government security frameworks.Conduct in-depth penetration tests across web applications, networks, and infrastructure.Identify, analyze, and report on vulnerabilities with a focus on high-impact remediation actions.Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security testing into the SDLC, ensuring all plans, actions, and validations are tracked, assigned, and documented.Produce detailed documentation of testing procedures, findings, and remediation strategies.Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration dustry-recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GPEN, CISSP, CISM).Familiarity with FISMA standards and NIST security guidelines.Proficiency with penetration testing tools (Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Metasploit).Experience with government-specific security tools or technologies.Experience using Nessus or similar vulnerability scanners.Experience as a Linux, Windows, or Database administrator, particularly with patching or system hardening.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.The salary range depends on location, experience, skills, and organizational needs.BenefitsGunnison offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: 3 weeks of Personal Leave in the first year11 paid Holidays annually5 days of Flexible Time Off per year401(k) with 50% company match up to 10%Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability InsurancePublic Transportation SubsidiesCertifications and Training Allowance: $2,500/yearWhy Join Gunnison?
