We’re just getting started.The RoleAs Peregrine’s BI + Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping how data is modeled, accessed, and used across the company. You will own the architecture and execution of our internal analytics stack, partnering closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to turn raw data into insight and insight into action.This is a highly cross-functional and high-visibility role — you’ll work directly with leaders across the business to define KPIs, automate workflows, and level up our data infrastructure. If you're a hands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity, loves translating business questions into clean data pipelines, and wants to shape the future of data at a mission-driven company, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoOwn and scale our data warehouse to support a fast-growing GTM and product ecosystemBuild and maintain ETL pipelines using dbt to integrate data from tools, apps, and third-party platformsDesign clean, reusable data models that power reporting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and FinanceCreate dashboards and analysis that uncover trends in revenue, product usage, and customer behaviorSet up data quality checks and alerts to ensure accurate, timely, and trustworthy dataSupport planning and forecasting by partnering with teams to define KPIs and build forward-looking modelsWhat We Look For4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in a fast-growing tech environmentStrong command of SQL and data modeling best practicesProficiency in dbt, modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, Sigma, or similarStrong product and business sense — you know how to balance technical purity with speed, scalability, and impactComfort working autonomously and owning projects end-to-endExcellent communication skills with an ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiencesLocated in San Francisco, CA and willing to work in our headquartersS alary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity (if applicable) + Bonus (if applicable)Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific work location.
