Join to apply for the Manager, Business Incentives Group role at BDO USA.3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants.Job DescriptionA Tax Manager, Business Incentives Group (BIG) in BDO’s Specialized Tax Services (STS) business is responsible for helping clients identify, document, and support tax positions related to this specialty’s area of tax law upon examination and at appeals. The STS BIG Manager will also assist with developing business development, process improvement, and team-building initiatives.Job DutiesResearch: Conduct investigations, prepare studies, and develop presentations.Tax Compliance: Ensure client compliance, identify tax minimization strategies, and prepare workpapers and tax returns.Tax Consulting: Develop solutions for clients, stay informed of legal developments, and identify tax benefits.Tax Controversy: Represent clients before tax authorities and respond to inquiries.Tax Specialization: Deepen understanding of BIG tax issues and identify opportunities.ASC 740-10: Apply industry standards and recognize financial benefits of BIG positions.Strategy Development: Develop new strategies and marketing approaches.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervise and review work of team members.Evaluate performance and act as Career Advisor.QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; accounting, tax, or finance preferred.Masters or Juris Doctorate preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience, including supervising professionals.CertificationsCPA or Enrolled Agent preferred.SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software.Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills.Salary RangeNational: $79,800 - $168,000Specific locations may vary.About UsJoin BDO for a meaningful career where your work impacts clients and communities.
