OverviewAs the Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within Asset and Wealth Management - Private Equity, you will lead a technical area and promote impact across teams, technologies, and projects within various departments. In this role, you will serve as the primary decision maker for your teams and act as a catalyst for innovation and solution delivery.Job ResponsibilitiesLeads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectivesMakes decisions that influence teams’ resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and proceduresCarries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operationsDelivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domainsInfluences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
