OverviewThe Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Pega Application Developer with a background in business process design, software application design, development, unit testing and quality assurance to join our team supporting a Department of Justice agency in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise software applications to meet business needs. The Pega Application Developer will be a member of an agile team, analyzing current business processes, configuring and building software applications using Pega 8, and ensuring the quality of the final solution. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communications skills.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand client business needs and requirementsUnderstand the current system and how it functionsDesign and develop applications based on business requirementsUpgrade and modify applications per business needsIdentify and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashionEnsure that project deliverables meet business requirements and complete projects within assigned timelinesProvide support in system testing and bug fixing activitiesBe available for migrations (during non-standard business hours)QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or EquivalentMinimum of 7 years of experience with case management system developmentMust have TS clearanceMust be a US CitizenPega System Architect CertificationPega 8 experiencePrevious Consulting or client service delivery experienceSpecialization in functional area (CRM, deployment, etc.) or industry domain expertiseProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentProven ability to mentor junior developersAvailable to report to client site in Washington, DC 5 times a weekDesired:Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologiesCertified Agile Practitioner is a plusPega Senior System Architect CertificationWhat You Can ExpectA culture of integrity.
