Software Development Engineer in Test - Core AV Quality EngineeringPay CompetitiveEmployment type: OtherJob DescriptionReq#: 200478903SummaryAs a Software Developer in Test on the Core AV Quality Engineering team, you will design, develop, and own automated tests, including test environment and systems deployments, for validating AV technologies across all of Apple’s product families; including unreleased prototypes. You will help with triaging test results and investigating issues spanning across hardware and software interaction layers to ensure new products and future software releases are delivered at the highest quality.Key QualificationsStrong understanding of software test and validation methodologiesSolid OS FundamentalsProgramming experience with C, Python, and Shell scriptingAbility to proactively triage and investigate difficult problems independentlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing technologiesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.Additional RequirementsStrong Object-Oriented Programming skills, preferably in PythonExperience in working in DevOps: CI/CD systems, Automated Lab Management at scaleFamiliarity with Display Technologies such as DisplayPort or HDMIExperience using Protocol AnalyzersPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
