The Armed Security Facility Commander has full authority to act on all contract matters in the Project/Deputy Manager’s absence. This role requires a leader with demonstrated law enforcement or security experience in managing Armed Security Forces and is adept at interacting with government personnel and ensuring compliance with the contract statement of work. This job posting is for two separate positions at two separate Washington, D.C. locations (DOT HQ and FAA Facilities).This opportunity is contingent upon potential contract award and may require a signed letter of intent. If awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the Senior Contractor representative at the Department of Transportation Headquarters, FAA Orville Wright, FAA Wilbur Wright Facilities, with full authority to act for the contractor on a day-to-day basis in the absence of the Project Manager (PM) or Deputy Project Manager (DPM).Oversee performance at the assigned building Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, ensuring compliance with Federal Protective Service (FPS) A-9 standards.Enforce contract requirements, including scheduling, training, uniform and grooming standards, post orders and inspections, access control, visitor processing, screening, security checks, patrols, and emergency responses.Serve as a point of contact with government, supervisors, and customers.Maintain accurate logs, records, supporting quality control inspections, and contract compliance.Track employees’ licenses, training, and certifications.Responsible for armed security weapons procedures and storage requirements on federal property.Ensure responsive, customer-focused services through direct communication, both internally and externally.Minimum Requirements:U.S. Citizen.Active Public Trust Tier 2 Security Clearance.Certified FPS A-9 Armed Contract Security Officer (ACSO) and supervisory plete medical exams, physical abilities tests, and drug screenings as required.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in law enforcement or security-related fields, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position (must be outlined in resume).2 years of college or substantial and credible law enforcement, military, or business management experience.Ability to supervise over 20 Armed Guards in a structured environment.Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and comprehension).Good communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts.Provide 3 professional references demonstrating experience managing large-scale security operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
