Cloud Software Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Software Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, software design, and practices to help build and manage our cloud platform. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $55 - $75 / hr. w2ResponsibilitiesDesign and build cloud platform solutions using full-stack development skills.Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop and manage cloud infrastructure.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes and AWS environments.Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues under pressure.Develop serverless functions and manage infrastructure as code.Experience Requirements5+ years of software engineering experienceStrong understanding of cloud IAM controls and policiesExperience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform)Proficiency in agile software development practicesPreferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application DeveloperRequired Certifications/EducationBachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
