OverviewAdvisor360° is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. You’ll design, develop, and maintain Android applications, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure our apps deliver outstanding performance and usability.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin (and Java as needed)Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and Android development guidelinesEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsParticipate in code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team membersKeep up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, techniques, and best practicesContribute to improving engineering processes, tools, and workflowsQualifications5+ years of programming experience in Android development (preferably Kotlin)Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, and best practicesFamiliarity with integrating and consuming RESTful APIsExperience with modern tools, frameworks and patterns like Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/RxJava, OkAndroid build variantsStrong knowledge of mobile performance optimization and security best practicesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesWhy You’ll Love Working HereWe offer a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and benefits.
