Facilities Project Coordinator

Overview Maxar Space Systems is seeking a motivated Facilities Project Coordinator to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. The role focuses on documenting, planning, and executing maintenance and installation projects for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, collaborating with the Facilities Team and vendors to keep facility systems operational and clean room areas in specification. Responsibilities Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded equipment. Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Maintain the company HVAC Maintenance Database. Monitor facilities projects from initiation through delivery, including work scope, schedules, and budget/spending. Organize cross-functional activities as necessary to ensure completion of the project (on schedule and within budget). Obtain and prepare project bids, and act as the point of contact between buyers, contractors, and management. Prioritize requests to ensure deadlines are met and user requests are handled in a timely and cost-effective manner. Use the company vehicle to perform campus-wide site reviews to ensure vendor performance. Act as the company representative to support facility equipment installation or emergency services. Minimum Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident High school diploma/GED equivalent Valid CADL and clean DMV record – ability to drive company vehicle 3 years of project management/project coordination or related experience Preferred Requirements HVAC, Building Maintenance, or Facilities experience. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project) skills. PMP Certification. Bachelor's Degree in program or project management. Project Administration with a focus on organization, record keeping, and scheduling. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this position in California is $23.72 - $39.53 hourly. For all other states, Maxar uses geographic cost of labor to determine market-driven ranges. Pay is determined by job-related factors including experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, location, and market conditions.
