With a core team composed of industry veterans in high-performance computing and distributed systems, the company is building foundational tools that power mission-critical AI workloads across top-tier organizations.About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to take the lead in connecting cutting-edge technology with the AI developer community. As an AI Developer Advocate, you’ll bridge the gap between users and engineering by creating compelling, real-world use cases and guiding product evolution. Your goal will be to evangelize a powerful open-source query engine designed for multimodal workloads, helping developers understand its capabilities and apply it to groundbreaking AI systems.ResponsibilitiesDeveloper Engagement: Partner with engineers, researchers, and product teams to uncover challenges in multimodal data processing and develop solutions that showcase the engine’s capabilities.Content Creation: Design technical content, tutorials, blog posts, videos, and sample projects that demonstrate advanced use-cases, such as:Retrieval-augmented (RAG) systems integrating video, images, and documentsAI agents navigating and reasoning over large-scale, unstructured dataPipelines for training foundation models with multimodal datasetsComplex workflows involving text, image, and videoReal-time ingestion pipelines for AI assistants consuming diverse media inputsCommunity Engagement: Represent the technology at meetups, conferences, and other community events to grow awareness and user adoption.Product Feedback: Relay insights from users to shape the product roadmap, ensuring features align with practical, high-impact use cases.RequirementsSolid foundation in AI/ML and experience working with multimodal dataProficiency in distributed systems, data engineering, or backend infrastructureDemonstrated success in creating technical content and public speakingStrong ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to technical audiencesOpen-source contributor experience is a plusBenefits & Why JoinFlexible hybrid work environment (3 days/week onsite in San Francisco)Competitive salary and meaningful equity packageCatered lunches and dinners for in-office team membersMonthly commuter benefitsTeam bonding events, including regular game and poker nightsComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous PTO policy401(k) plan with employer matchLatest Apple equipment and tools provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
