This individual will manage a sales territory of institutional entities focusing on providing investment solutions across pension, retirement, and not-for-profit asset pools. This individual will need to work collaboratively with the territory’s Managing Director and other institutional colleagues to bring the most appropriate products and services to our client audience. The target market for this role is concentrated in the Southern U.S. and mostly consists of mid-large plans / asset pools between $3 – 10 billion. Responsibilities of the Role Lead business development and client servicing efforts for institutional clients within your coverage territory in collaboration with the territory’s Managing Director, institutional colleagues on Consultant Relations, Defined Contribution, and Global Liquidity sales teams as well as other Invesco business units Proactively build our understanding of each asset owner’s organizational structure, decision-making authority, and investment priorities Execute on sales plans for accounts in your territory by continuously evaluating client needs, designing an organized and efficient approach to relationship management, and providing value-added services Establish and maintain regular communication with asset owners in your territory Coordinate client requests, promptly and accurately Requirements of the Role 5+ years of institutional sales / analyst experience Client relationship management experience Financial services / investment management experience with knowledge of institutional ecosystem, sponsors, consultants, and competitors Understanding of investment instruments and their relevance across various plan and client types Exceptional teammate, open-minded, flexible, willing to listen to other people’s opinions and proactively share your own Ability to navigate multiple work streams and manage competing priorities Creative problem-solving skills FINRA Series 3, 7, 63, and 65 CFA or demonstrated progress toward the designation Employment Type & Work Model Full time Employee Yes, Job Exempt Workplace Model: Invesco’s policy may require spending four full days per week in an Invesco office (as of the stated policy).
