We are seeking a Director, Software Engineering, to serve as the Technology Domain Owner (TDO) .What You'll Be DoingThe Technology Domain Owner plays a pivotal role in overseeing all technology-related initiatives within the specific domain. T he TDO will dev elop and execut e the domain's technology strategy , ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives , and lead multiple teams . Leveraging their technical expertise , the TDO will innovate and deliver impactful business outcomes. Additionally, strong influencing skills are essential for shaping strategy and fo stering partnerships both internally and externally.Key Responsibilities IncludeBuild a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterationsCultivate engineering and operational excellence through best practices, metrics and continuous learningHold single accountability for the delivery of technology initiatives within the domain. Own and drive key initiatives across our full software stack - from customer-facing features to backend dataBuild a lean and nimble tech stack that enables launch of our products at global s caleBreak down complex challenges, simplify problems, overcom e roadblocks, and driv e resultsCollaborate closely with Product and Enterprise leaders to develop long term domain technology strategies for your orgYou will lead design, user experience, platform integrations, availability, performance, scalability. Build engineering best practices, processes and mechanismsDevelop and maintain a detailed delivery plan that encompasses all aspects of the delivery from initiation to closure. Monitor and report on the progress of technology delivery to senior management and stakeholders, adjusting delivery plans as necessary to meet objectivesBalance big-picture thinking with the ability to quickly shift between strategic and tactical executionCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise updates on delivery, risks, and achievements. Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to ensure technology solutions meet business needs and customer expectationsResponsible for directly hiring, retaining , and growing top managers and engineering talent within your group.
