The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment. Key Qualifications: 10+ years of development experience, with at least 7 years in Java, including memory management and server tuning. Experience with Spring and AWS is required. Proficiency in Kafka is essential. Knowledge of Node.js and React is a plus. Financial services experience is advantageous. Basic understanding of GraphiQL. Local candidates preferred: Needham, MA, or Boston, MA, with no relocation offered. Job Overview: The candidate will work closely with developers, analysts, and QA engineers to develop solutions for Prism, Wellington's real-time data fabric, supporting various data access interfaces and services. Responsibilities: Lead development of complex AWS-based Java services, React front-ends, and Kafka messaging systems. Engage with investment data and support high-quality solution delivery. Design, prototype, and develop full-stack software components. Coordinate testing and support during deployment phases. Enhance existing systems for performance and functionality improvements. Document technical designs and support procedures. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience with Java 11+. Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud technologies. Experience with Jenkins and GIT. Familiarity with GraphQL and Kafka pub/sub systems is a plus. Proficiency in RESTful web services, JavaScript/Node.js, HTML5, CSS, and React.
