Our team creates novel solutions for complex engineering challenges while scaling our infrastructure across AWS regions worldwide.A day in the lifeYour responsibilities will include:* Developing customer-facing features for API and AWS Console* Operating cloud services that process billions of requests per day* Building and optimizing internal automation toolsOur team manages:* Core service infrastructure* Backend services with 99.99% availability targets* RESTful APIs with * Frontend implementations in the AWS ConsoleYou'll work with technologies including:* Distributed systems* Cloud infrastructure* Full-stack development frameworks* Performance monitoring and optimization toolsAbout the teamOur team comprises of software engineers specializing in distributed systems. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
