Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you/'ll contribute to traffic impact studies and help shape safe, efficient transportation solutions.ResponsibilitiesConduct capacity and queueing analyses at stop-controlled intersections, signalized intersections, and roundaboutsPrepare trip generation forecastsAssist with the written preparation of traffic impact studies, technical reports, and parking studiesReview roadway geometrics and signal timingsEvaluate roadway segment operations using both macrosimulation and microsimulation softwareEvaluate bicycle and pedestrian operations and safetyPrepare parking demand analyses and parking assessmentsMay act as technical resource for clientResearch local design standards for preparation of transportation studiesTravel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings, as requiredMay perform other duties as requested, directed, or assignedQualificationsEducation: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation PlanningF.E. or E.I.T preferredExperience: Typically, 0 to 3 years of experienceKnowledge of traffic analysis software (HCS, CAD, Synchro, VISSIM preferred)Experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCADBenefitsThe estimated starting base salary for this role is $70,000-$80,000.Benefits include a culture that values collaboration, growth, and opportunity.
