Duties: Involved in all facets of the software development process from inception to deployment. Add visibility to critical applications and processes. Evolve the Rocket toolkit by identifying and recommending the best tool for each task. Create A/B tests to enhance user experience. Improve existing code for better testability, robustness, and resilience. Deploy daily to highly available applications. Maintain empathy for customers and prioritize quick movement where users are most affected.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5 years of experience in JVM, Server-Side development, Infrastructure, Databases, and Frontend development. Must include 5 years of experience with Java and Infrastructure As Code tools. Also, 4 years of experience with AWS or similar cloud services, RDBMS, NoSQL, Key-Value Stores, automated testing, and frontend frameworks like Angular or React. Additionally, 2 years of experience with Key Management Systems and at least one of Grails, Groovy, Kotlin, or Clojure. Telecommuting is permitted.Work Location: 641 W Lake St., Chicago, IL 60661Hours: M-F, 40 hours/weekSalary Range: $148,949 to $190,000 per year.
