The Senior Network Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the on-prem and cloud architecture, design and implementation of our networking environment. Qualified candidate must have significant on the job Cisco, AWS and/or Azure experience along with related experience in Infrastructure / Networking environments with hardware (routers, switches, firewall, ISE, etc.), network security practices, designing, planning and implementing LAN-MAN-WANs using the industry standard technologies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code is key for this position.Job OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Network Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The Senior Network Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the on-prem and cloud architecture, design and implementation of our networking environment. Experience with Infrastructure as Code is key for this position.The candidate should drive continuous improvement and growth of the company through strong skills and experience in data network technologies (dynamic routing protocols, traditional layer 2 protocols) and network automation (Infra as code, compliance, monitoring).The candidate must be able to see projects through all stages, including defining, requirements, drafting and presenting technical proposals, deploying and maintaining the best solutions. A strong commitment to technical excellence and teamwork will be required, as this individual will be in a strategic position to influence and lead change within the IT Organization.ResponsibilitiesSupport all aspects of Arrowstreet’s on-prem and cloud network environmentResearch and Implement network and security solutions, as well as value add technologiesContinuous improvement of current network and cloud environments for optimal performanceDesign and support our infrastructures with security in mind: hardening, performing security analysis, vulnerabilities assessments and remediations.Create and support the team’s operational documentationAugment teams automation capabilities and Infrastructure as Code initiativesQualificationsIdeal candidate should have at least eight (8) years on the job experience in routing and switching in an enterprise environment.Hands on experience integrating on premise and cloud providers networksHands on experience with Cloud providers network infrastructures (Amazon AWS, Azure), connectivity solutions with on-prem and external environments (AWS direct-connect, Azure ExpressRoute, S2S VPNs) leveraging TerraformSupport routing between on-prem and cloud VPCs/subnets, while enforcing routing policies for cloud-bound trafficStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and best practices.Proficiency in Infrastructure management and automation based on Infrastructure as Code (Python/Shellscript, Terraform/Ansible, Git, Pipelines).Comprehensive hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies based on Cisco (NX-OS, IOS-XE), Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 BIGIP load-balancers (LTM/GTM).Comprehensive Network Architecture experience, including network design, reference architecture and design documentationHands on experience with network tools deployments (vendor solutions, API integrations and microservices hosting)Ability to work independently, develop long term strategic enterprise network goals and create a network technology roadmapAbility to communicate well within and across teams; foster relationships throughout the organization and build trust amongst peers through demonstrated strong job performance.Technical plusWorking knowledge with Cisco ISE or other NAC solutionsExperience with Cisco Meraki Wireless infrastructureWe maintain a friendly, team-oriented environment and place a high value on professionalism, attitude, and initiative.Please note: this role will be responsible for off hours coverage on a rotating basis.Arrowstreet Capital is a Boston-based systematic investment firm that manages global equity portfolios for institutional investors around the world.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, genetic information, age, pregnancy, medical condition, disability, veteran or military status, marital status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.Arrowstreet Capital is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
