This position, based in San Jose, CA, is a Transitional Support opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for the duties listed below.ResponsibilitiesDesign complex digital integrated circuits at the block, subsystem, or system level (100M+ gates) using SystemVerilogDesign experience with processor sub_systems with ARM, RISC-V, or Tensilica processorsLead the IP evaluation and decision process for CPUsRun synthesis, perform timing analysis, and collaborate with the backend teamDevelop and understand micro-architectureCollaborate with design lead/manager to execute design activitiesSupport ASIC lab validation, reproduce issues, and identify fixesPossess working experience with PCIe, ONFI/Toggle NAND, DDR4/5, or NVMe protocolsRequirements/QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 15 years of proven silicon design experienceDirect hands-on work experience with ASIC/SoC designsProficient in SystemVerilog and scripting languagesExcellent leadership and project management skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time: 0% - 25%Physical Attributes: Feeling, Hearing, Other, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements: 80% Sitting, 10% Walking, 10% Standing, Usual Business HoursPay Range: The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $88,000 - $232,000.
