We are currently seeking a Digital Hardware Design Engineer, Data Center to join our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center. The IP Routing Hardware organization is very flat - there are few levels of management between the Individual Contributor and the VP of Hardware. We are also very lean, and as a result, your work has high visibility, and your decisions directly impact product design.The HW Design Engineer conducts target-oriented research to directly apply findings to the specification, design, further development, and incremental improvement of products, services, systems, tools, processes, etc. Integrates, verifies, tests, and modifies SW / HW / system components and capitalizes on innovative solutions to meet particular requirements and specifications.DCN2025As a Hardware Engineer, you will:Design complex, multilayer printed circuit boardsDrive and manage your design through the development process from concept to production releaseVerify prototype hardware under thermal and environmental conditionsWork with test & manufacturing engineering to release a high-quality productSupport early manufacturing and customer issuesYou have:Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering10+ years of experience designing complex PCB designsUnderstanding of Ultra high-speed PCB circuit design and methodologiesExcellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skillsIt would be nice if you also had:Experience with stack-up design, signal integrity simulation, and power circuitryFamiliarity with EMC/EMI/Safety and ITU/IEEE/Bellcore telecommunications standardsProgramming/Scripting ability (C/Python)Come create the technology that helps the world act togetherNokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
