In this role, you will leverage your expertise in solution integration, feature and performance testing of 5G core.This position will report to the VP, Core Network Architecture and will work closely with geo dispersed engineering teams. This position will be based in our Texas office.What you will do:Build deep understanding of the E-Space 5G core solution in terms of deployment, configuration, use cases and manageability.Set up and maintain 5G core test lab and tegration and solution testing with other components of E-Space network.Working with engineering teams, develop various test scenarios applicable to E-Space and provide support to troubleshoot integration issues.Prepare solution integration/verification plans for acceptance and automate the same for continuous testing.What you bring to this role:A bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 12-15 years of demonstrated experience qualifying core and/or RAN networks at scale for CSPs.Excellent understanding of relevant 3GPP specs and call flows for 5G (NGAP, NAS, SBI, User plane, GTP, Security, Charging)Able to troubleshoot and pinpoint issues and work with engineering teams for a solution.Very good scripting, automation and troubleshooting skills.Experience in DevOps, CI/CD, TCP/IP, Python, Linux based virtualized environments (KVM/VNF/CNF) and Continuous testing leveraging the same.Excellent communication, problem solving and time management skills.Bonus points:Experience working with industry leading 5G core testing tools like Spirent or Keysight.$100,000 - $180,000 a yearThe estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position in question, which is based on market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, depth of relevant experience, and other relevant factors.
