OverviewSolution Advisor Senior Specialist role at SAP. We are looking for a Presales Solution Advisor who can help customers envision what’s possible with SAP Cloud applications and technologies, particularly in SAP Finance Solution Advisory, we listen to a customer’s business, learn what needs to change, and help leaders ideate how technology and automation could support their strategy. You will connect customer vision to a solution designed with SAP capabilities.What You'll DoAs a Presales Solution Advisor, bring deep expertise across SAP Finance solutions to help customers envision what’s possible. Key solution areas include Core Finance (GL, AR, AP), Federal Finance Accounting, Asset Accounting, Project Accounting, Funds Management (highly preferred), and Grants Management (highly preferred).Deal Support: conduct discovery sessions, personalize demo scenarios, showcase SAP and industry knowledge with relevant proof points, lead RFx document completion with account teams, present remotely with professionalism, provide post-sale handoff and implementation support, serve as Solution Captain for complex deals, and leverage internal support teams.Demand Generation: support virtual/on-site events, lead customer workshops, collaborate to pursue whitespace opportunities, and create engaging digital content to amplify solution impact.Sales Readiness: stay current with SAP releases, contribute to demo system design and configuration, participate in product testing and knowledge sharing, and mentor internal training initiatives.What You BringSAP ExpertiseExperience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECCFamiliarity with SAP Finance modules such as Funds Management, Grants Management, and Asset AccountingSAP customer or consulting experience is highly regardedFederal/Public Sector Experience; prior experience with U.S. Federal Government agenciesUnderstanding of federal budgeting and financial regulationsPresales & Solution Delivery; experience in presales, software demos, or solution consultingStrong storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiencesExperience leading or supporting SAP design thinking workshops and sales cyclesEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field requiredAdvanced degrees (MBA, Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration) a plusCPA certification or licensure highly valuedSAP Certifications in relevant modules (e.g. SAP Finance, Funds Mgmt, Grants Mgmt) preferred but not requiredWe win with inclusionSAP’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone – regardless of background – feels included and can run at their best.
