In 2024, we created a focused Telecom & Digital Infrastructure industry group to complement A&M’s history in solving complex issues in this space. We are looking for accomplished consultants and operators with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to develop actionable strategies and see them through to execution.A&M helps companies navigate options through complex market dynamics, such as telecom. Our work includes advising on top-line strategy growth, streamlining operations, solving for tech debt, investments across telecom and digital infrastructure, divestitures, restructuring, transactional diligences, and M&A.Our team serves traditional telecom operators, as well as private equity, digital infrastructure providers, government entities, and cross-industry enterprises. Our work spans across wireline (cable, fiber, legacy), wireless, data centers, satellite, and next gen infrastructure terested parties should have a strong background in one of the following areas:Networks and Related Business CasesNetwork Deployment Strategy (expansions or net-new)Network UpgradesNetwork M&A, ValuationTransactions, Strategy & StructureM&A Pre-Deal (Due Diligence, Planning)M&A Post-Deal (Execution, Business Case Achievement)Revenue & Pricing ImprovementShareholder Value ImprovementOperations EfficiencyNetwork and Field OperationsCustomer Care and SalesSupply Chain & LogisticsITTelecom IT Strategy & Road MappingOSS/BSS Assessments and BuildsHow You Will ContributeLeads teams on complex projects by: setting clear direction, establishing clear expectations, ensuring quality of client / project team deliverable developmentDecomposes complex issues, frames solution design and architects deliverables against SOW requirementsEnsures deliverables are complete, error free, communicated clearly and on timeRapidly develops understanding of client’s businessAnticipates, assesses and identifies areas of potential risk and issues, and develops mitigation plansActively seeks to find current client needs that may lead to new opportunities for A&MActively promotes a positive and inclusive team environment that embraces the unique attributes of all team membersCoaches others to act and deliver in the best interests of our clientsQualifications7-15+ years of relevant industry and consulting experienceBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferredOutcome orientedEntrepreneurial and commercial approachStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skillsStrong interpersonal/team skills, high E.Q.Working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentAbility to address strategic issues and act tactically understanding cross-functional requirementsComfortable with travelYour journey at A&MWe recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The amount of vacation and personal days available varies based on tenure and role type. The discretionary bonus is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. The base salary range for Director is $150,000-$225,000 annually and Senior Director is $175,000-$275,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography.
