We look forward to meeting you.To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: DescriptionHuntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies.This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and develops secure system configurations, ensuring implementation, testing, and maintenance of selected security controls in line with Zero Trust principles and RMF protocols. Conducts system and network audits to verify compliance with DoD and NIST cybersecurity guidelines and Cloud-specific security standards. Develops and coordinates policies and instructions for the implementation and execution of programs, aligning them with Zero Trust and Cloud security measures. Provides cybersecurity planning and ensures compliance with applicable standards and guidelines, including for Cloud-based systems. Coordinates and implements security measures across various environments and supports hardware and software deployment activities with a focus on secure configurations. Responds to annual reporting requirements for the program office and assists with exercise requirements, including pre-exercise planning and the development of a trusted agent network for each program. Supports secure operations in hybrid environments (on-premises and Cloud), ensuring systems meet RMF-based certification requirements. Reviews security configurations to adapt to evolving threats and leverage Zero Trust principles for enhanced access controls. Provides actionable insights to strengthen end-user security awareness and system integrity.Minimum Qualifications9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectivelyCapacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentProven track record of contributing to successful team outcomesPreferred RequirementsKnowledge of DoD acquisition and contracting processesWorking familiarity with federal compliance standards (e.g., DFARS, ITAR)PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications preferredPhysical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
