(MTSI)Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.As a Aircraft Survivability PM Support Professional with MTSI you will provide the U.S. Air Force with Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) and Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) on-site to achieve technically sufficient, cost-effective, long-term, critical capabilities to support the war-fighting mission of the combatant commanders. This position is located on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC.Your essential functions will include, and may not be limited to:Provide dedicated support to the Program Element Monitor responsible for the Secretary of the Air Force, Special Programs (SAF/AQL) aircraft and survivability portfolioWork, collaborate, and at times appear for the organization on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of multiple programs and be able to perform all functional duties independentlyExecute analysis of technologies for associated or one-of-a kind systems to include system acquisition and life cycle management for planning, programming, budgeting, and security policyUse your in-depth understanding of aircraft, survivability, warfighter capability and requirements, DoD system acquisition, programs and defense policy to evaluate issues and provide recommendations up to the Director/GO/SES level on the portfolios security policyOversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific projectCollaborate with diverse organizations and agencies to find opportunities and set up cooperative agreements to determine solutions to challenging cross cutting problemsProvide acquisition oversight and support portfolio management activities including working groups and integrated product teamsInterface with other DoD Services, Congress, industry, and other external offices and agenciesRequired Experience15+ years of relevant DoD work experience, including experience on aircraft development or operations, survivability related programs, research, and acquisitionNo less than three (3) years’ experience within the last five (5) years in a Special Access Program and/or SCI environment (REQUIRED)DoD 5000.02 acquisition experience on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs for research, development, test, evaluation, production, modernization or lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities of a DoD program; international acquisition and/or foreign disclosure experience a plusIntrinsically motivated team player with a desire to learn including maintenance of technical relevancyMAJCOM level or higher Staff ExperienceStrong communications to include verbal and technical writing skillsEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a science, mathematics, engineering or related technical fieldMaster of Science (MS) / Master of Engineering (ME) Degree (Desired)Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) - certified in Program Management, Engineering, IT and/or Test & Evaluation; Advanced or formerly Level 3 (DESIRED)Clearance RequirementsActive TS/SCI (Cl polygraph highly desired)Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.#mtsi#reginPerks & BenefitsVacationNew Hires Accrue 20 days of PTO and 10 Holidays per YearHealth InsuranceZero Deductible Health PlansFlexible SchedulesFlex SchedulesProfessional DevelopmentUp to $10,000 Annual Education/Training ReimbursementESOPFunded Stock Ownership Plan401k Match+6% 401k Match + Immediate VestingBonus ProgramSemi-Annual Bonus OpportunityMentorshipCareer Mentorship ProgramsWhy is MTSI known as a Great Place to Work?Interesting Work: Our co-workers support some of the most important and critical programs to our national defense and security.Values: Our first core value is that employees come first.
