Base pay range$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yrRelocation will be providedOverviewAt Clark Pacific, the Project Engineer designs, fabricates, and oversees installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated team within a specific business unit, this role applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines to contribute to the success of prefabricated buildings on the West Coast.Clark Pacific is the West Coast’s leading prefabricator of building systems. We have over 50 years of experience and have contributed to iconic projects such as the Golden 1 Center, the Apple campus, the San Francisco 49ers stadium, and the Stanford Escondido Village Graduate Housing.Clark Pacific is seeking a Project Engineer to support our West Sacramento location.Overview of the positionThe Project Engineer facilitates the successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated team within a specific business unit, this role applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines to contribute to project success. Initial activities pertaining to the design phase, including submittals (floor plans, elevations, material specifications, connection details, reinforcing details, general panel details, design approvals, reinforcement drawings, and miscellaneous metal drawings). Manufacturing-related activities pertaining to the production phase, including providing complete shop drawings, ensuring purchasing of materials and forms, design lifting hardware and inserts, maintaining a casting schedule, performing quality checks, and coordinating with manufacturing and project startup meetings throughout the life cycle. Field-related activities pertaining to the erection phase, including crane studies, rigging diagrams, erection plan and sequence, load lists and diagrams; coordinating shipping, field manpower with the budget, ensuring fall protection, representing the company at the site, and inspecting erection quality. General project management including project performance to contract specs, budget, schedule; issue identification, problem-solving, escalation as needed; coordinating submittals (welding, grouting, post-tensioning, etc.) and collaborating with internal resources to develop professionally.Preferred Education and Experience BS in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or an engineering-related degree EIT certification preferredInterested?
