This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance software asset management processes, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and optimizing software usage across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and Configuration: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules related to Software Asset Management, including license management, compliance tracking, and reportingIntegration: Integrate ServiceNow SAM solutions with third-party tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracyWorkflow Development: Design and develop efficient workflows that streamline processes and enhance user experienceCollaboration: Work closely with the technical architect and product owner to align product vision, technical feasibility, and implementation strategies. Engage in discussions to ensure that the product roadmap is realistic and achievable while meeting both user needs and technical standardsTesting and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutionsDocumentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAM processes, workflows, and technical specifications to ensure knowledge transfer and compliancePerformance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of SAM solutions and make recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and effectivenessReporting and Analytics: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into software asset utilization, compliance status, and optimization opportunitiesParticipation in Agile Ceremonies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Agile process by providing insights and feedback based on user experiences and testing outcomesAdherence to Code Development Standards: Ensure that all development work adheres to established coding standards and best practices. Engage in code review processes to provide and receive constructive feedback and ensure that code quality meets organizational standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on Software Asset Management or IT Asset ManagementProficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrationsExperience with ServiceNow SAM module, ServiceNow Discovery, IntegrationHub and related applicationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentRelevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are a plusEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
