1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from IdexcelJob Title: Data Governance Lead (Informatica & Collibra)Location: Hybrid - Washington DC (2 days onsite)Duration: 16+ MonthsKey ResponsibilitiesPolicy Implementation: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.Metadata Management: Create and maintain metadata repositories, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets, definitions, and relationships.Data Lineage: Establish and manage data lineage processes to track data flow from source to consumption, facilitating impact analysis and compliance reporting.Data Stewardship: Collaborate with data stewards and business units to define data ownership, stewardship roles, and responsibilities.Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alation to support metadata management and data governance initiatives.Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on data governance best practices and the use of metadata tools.Continuous Improvement: Monitor data governance metrics and implement improvements to enhance data quality and governance processes.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
